Step One
Use our Microsoft Bookings page to choose a day and time that works for you. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, with same-day slots often open. The booking system is connected directly to our team's calendar so you always see real-time availability. Select "Remote Computer Support" from the service menu and choose your preferred time. You will receive an instant email confirmation with everything you need.
Step Two
Shortly after booking, you will receive an email containing a consent form and our Terms of Service. This document outlines exactly what we will do during the session, how your data is protected, and your rights as a client. You must review and digitally sign this form before your session begins. This protects you and ensures full transparency. The process takes under two minutes. Step Three
Before your session, download and install two lightweight tools. These are safe, industry-standard applications used by IT professionals worldwide. They allow our technician to securely connect to your computer during the session. Both tools are uninstalled or deactivated at your request once the session is complete.
Step Four
At your appointment time, your technician will initiate a Microsoft Teams meeting. A link will be sent to your email. Simply click the link and join the meeting from any browser โ no Teams account or app download is required on your end. This meeting serves as your live communication channel with the technician throughout the entire session. You can ask questions, provide feedback, and follow along in real time. If you prefer to use the Teams desktop app, that works too.
Step Five
Once you are in the Teams meeting and your technician is ready to begin, they will initiate a secure remote access session through the installed client. You will see a pop-up on your screen asking you to accept or deny the connection. You must actively click Accept for the session to begin. The technician cannot access your computer without this explicit approval from you. You maintain full control and can end the session at any point by simply clicking a button or closing the remote access window.
Step Six
Once the session is active, you have two options. You can watch every action the technician takes on your screen in real time through the Teams meeting video feed. This is a great way to learn what was slowing your computer down and what is being done to fix it. Alternatively, you can step away and let us work. When the cleanup is complete, your technician will notify you through the Teams meeting. Either option is perfectly fine โ you are always in control.
